SulfiMetric is developing detection and quantification solutions for gas and process systems where sulfur compounds can poison catalysts, damage valuable equipment, affect product quality, or keep fuel streams from meeting strict specifications. Several of these markets require formal certification, qualification, or site specific approval before deployment. That makes the right partners an important part of the work.

Fuel cell hydrogen

Hydrogen quality for PEM fuel cells.

Fuel cell systems need hydrogen with extremely low sulfur contamination because sulfur species can permanently degrade catalysts. Low level detection can support production, purification, and station quality checks.

Renewable gas

Biogas, biomethane, and RNG upgrading.

H2S and related sulfur compounds are common biogas impurities. Reliable measurement helps protect upgrading assets, support grid injection quality, and enable cleaner use of renewable methane streams.

Fuel cell feedstocks

SOFC, reformer, and hydrocarbon fuel cleanup.

Solid oxide fuel cells and reforming catalysts can suffer from sulfur poisoning when fed with natural gas, biogas, LPG, diesel, or jet fuel derived streams. Low level sulfur analysis helps validate polishing and cleanup stages.
